Ten Minute Take-Out Teriyaki Sauce

Updated: Oct 28, 2023

Ten minute take-out worthy teriyaki sauce - say that 5x fast!! If you're looking for a delicious, yet quick, sauce to make for dinner, I have you covered - even my kids love it, which is a huge mom-win. 💪🏻

This Teriyaki Sauce is the perfect sweet and tangy mixture that pairs perfectly with chicken and lo mein noodles (how we mainly eat it). But it can also be added over rice and stir fry veggies! It is a super versatile sauce that everyone loves.

Scroll down for the full recipe and instructions on how to make it.

I get most of my ingredients from Sprouts, as that's my preferred grocery store, but most major grocery stores will have the ingredients needed.

-1/2 Cup of Soy

-1/2 Cup Maple Syrup

-2 Tbl minced garlic

-2-3 tsp fresh grated ginger (I store my ginger in the freezer)

-Sriracha to taste!

Sauce Thickener (add after sauce simmers for 10 minutes)

-1 T Corn Starch

-1 T Warm Water

Mix all ingredients together and add to a sauce pan. Bring to a slow boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. Add thickener to sauce, if desired, and stir on low until thickened.

This is consistency of the sauce you're looking for right here. Not too thick and not too runny! Pour it over your favorite dinner and you're done. Easy 10 minute sauce that everyone will rave about.
